Hello everyone! We are so thrilled you are joining us for the Walk to Defeat ALS! Please don't hesistate to contact me at eroe@alsastl.org if you have ANY questions!
The Walk will be held at Walk Your Way on Saturday, June 26, 2021!
For the safety of our ALS community during the global COVID-19 pandemic, we will continue to Walk Your Way this year in place of in-person activities. We urge you to join us in fundraising to support the programs and services we provide for those living with ALS, research and advocacy. Please stay tuned to emails and the Walk to Defeat ALS Facebook page for updates regarding the Walk location and COVID-19 guidelines and protocols that may take place during the 2021 Walk. We will have a final decision regarding if we will have some in person component April 2021.

Create a QR Code
A QR code is an easy way to share the direct link to your personal or team fundraising page.
How to Create a QR Code:
1. Login to your Participant Center.
2. Copy the URL at the top of your team page or personal fundraising page.
3. Visit www.flowcode.com
4. Paste the URL into the prompt and create your code!
5. Now you can download your code and begin using it to fundraise!
How to Use a QR Code:
1. Open the camera app on your smartphone and aim it at the code.
2. Click the website link that appears at the top of your phone and you will be directed to your team or personal fundraising page.
Ways to Use Your QR Code:
1. Put it on a business card, flyer, or any slip and hand it out to coworkers, relatives, friends, teammates, teachers, doctors, neighbors, or anyone!
2. Insert the code in your email signature so anyone you send an email to can scan it and be directed to your page.

Did you know that you can raise money for this year’s Walk through Facebook? Connect your fundraising page with Facebook's Fundraising platform to easily ask for support from your network!
We've Gone Mobile!
Your fundraising has gone mobile thanks to the Walk to Defeat ALS mobile & tablet app. Now you can fundraise on the go by sending emails, monitoring your fundraising progress and updating your page.
T-Shirts
Only participants who've raised $90 will get a t-shirt. This benefit is awarded to individuals, not teams or donors, so make sure the donations to your personal fundraising record add up!
In addition to working toward one for yourself, you should spread the word to encourage your friends, family, and coworkers to earn their very own shirt.
