The ALS Association St. Louis Regional Chapter

Tree of Hope
In 1984 The Association began as a support group providing guidance, programs,Tree of Hope information, and support to ALS patients and their families. Since that time, The Association has developed into a significant chapter serving a large area - Eastern Missouri, Central Illinois, and Southern Illinois. During our past 20 years, we have been awarded Chapter of the Year three times and have been honored with many awards for our innovative patient services and educational programs. Throughout our growth, our major focus has remained the same - patient and family service programs.

In honor of our past 20th anniversary we have introduced a Tree of Hope remembrance program. This beautiful memorial tree is a lasting tribute to our loved ones who are living with ALS or who have lost their fight with this disease.

The Tree of Hope symbolically represents The ALS Association with its programs and presence rooted in our community and it's many branches of patient services, educational programs, and public policy activities. The Tree of Hope also represents the thousands of people in the ALS community, including patients, families, caregivers, and everyone dedicated to providing "a reason for hope."

The Tree of Hope offers a unique opportunity to honor or recognize a loved one. The stones beneath the tree represent major contribution of $600 and above. A leaf is a contribution of $100 and above.
