The ALS Association St.
Louis Regional Chapter is always in need of great volunteers. Scroll down to

volunteer questionnaire.
CURRENT VOLUNTEER NEEDS:
PATIENT VOLUNTEER PROGRAM
The Patient Volunteer Program is an opportunity for volunteers that want to give back on a regular basis. For families affected by ALS, work around the house like cleaning, yard work, and running errands can become huge obstacles. You can help reduce stress on a family by taking care of these little things for them. This program matches volunteers with a family affected by ALS for visits at regular, mutually agreed upon times.
WALK TO DEFEAT ALS®
The Walk to Defeat ALS® is looking for volunteers to serve on the Springfield
or St. Louis Walk Committee. Committee members help recruit new teams, promote
the walk, assist with logistics and more. The time commitment is a one hour
meeting and 1 to 3 additional hours a month working on logistics and
fundraising for the walk. Meetings start in January and end in July. A
successful walk wouldn’t be possible without the efforts of our dedicated
committee!
SWING FOR A CURE GOLF TOURNAMENT
The Swing for a Cure Golf Tournament is also looking for committee members. As a
committee member you can choose to be responsible for as much or as little as
you are able to manage. This is a great opportunity for someone that
desires to devote a couple hours a month for a few months out of the year to
make a difference in the lives of hundreds of families battling ALS. The golf
committee members work on the following: Auction, Sponsorship, Logistics,
Volunteers, Food/Beverage and Media/Publicity.
DAY OF EVENT VOLUNTEERS
If you are looking for a fun and rewarding experience, consider joining the
hundreds volunteers who help make The ALS Association events a success! There
are job opportunities at all times during the event and doing a variety of
things.
OFFICE SUPPORT
We also need help in the office with mailings, packet assembly, data entry,
filing, and/or computer support.
