Phillip-A-Looza Poster 2012

Phillip-A-Looza is an annual concert developed as a third party event to raise money for The ALS Association St. Louis Regional Chapter to help fight Lou Gehrig’s Disease in the St. Louis Metro Area. We are committed to producing an exciting and diverse concert event featuring local and national live music acts to provide attendees with fantastic concert experience while raising money for patient and family support to help fight ALS.

As plans are being finalized for this year’s event, the lineup looks spectacular. The show will once again be at the Old Rock House in downtown St. Louis. The bill consists of The Hatrick, Big Brother Thunder and The Master Blasters, The Lightning Bottle Band, Stickley and Canan, The Scandaleros, The Snarky Gargoyles, Plaid to the Bone, and The Cosmic Collaborative Dancers.

This year’s event is expected to be a huge success with the largest crowd yet. Each year, the Phillip-A-Looza Committee set’s a goal for fundraising that year. This year’s goal is $20,000.00

The event is held in memory of Phillip Wright, who died in May of 2006 after a particularly grueling battle with the dreaded disease. He was a military veteran, a loving husband, father and grandfather and a community leader in his hometown of Creve Coeur. His son, Phil, who is a high school teacher and coach at Hazelwood West, also plays in the local blues rock outfit, The Lightnin’ Bottle Band.
